Interior

Gaia’s bright, airy saloon is well-maintained, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed to allow for maximum storage in a small space. The recently renewed upholstery is good quality and in excellent condition. There are two main sleeping areas: a queen-sized bed in the aft cabin and two single beds in the V berth area. In addition to this, the dinette area can be converted into a quarter berth, and the passageway can also be used as a quarter berth. Both these areas are particularly useful when on passage.

The layout of the galley is unique, since the sink and the three-burner Force 10 propane stove form an island in the centre of the forward cabin. This allows for more than one person working in the galley at a time. There are plenty of nooks and crannies for storing large amounts of provisions, ideal for long passages.

The head is also unusual: a Lavac (vacuum) model with a simple Whale Gusher pump that is easy to maintain. The 20-gallon holding tank is situated underneath.
